Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to run the service for you:

• Account details — your name, business name, username, email address, phone number and password (stored only as a secure one-way hash).
• Business data you enter — customers, suppliers, quotations, invoices, payments, expenses, products, GST details, and HR & payroll records such as employees, attendance and salaries.
• Files you upload — logos, signatures, product images and documents attached to your records.
• Biometric face data (optional) — if you enable Face Attendance, a mathematical face descriptor is stored to match check-ins. It is used only for attendance and is never shared or sold.
• Payment information — subscription payments are processed by our third-party payment gateway. We receive confirmation and billing details, but we do not store your full card or bank credentials.
• Technical & usage data — IP address, browser and device type, and basic activity logs used to keep the service secure and reliable.

• To provide, operate and maintain the Zebment platform and its features.
• To process your subscription, send invoices and manage renewals.
• To send transactional messages (for example invoices, quotations or attendance QR codes) on your instruction, including over email and WhatsApp.
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• To secure the service, prevent fraud and comply with applicable law.

The records you create in Zebment are your data. We act as a processor on your behalf. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your business records for advertising. We access your data only to operate the service, provide support you request, or when required by law.

We share data only with the service providers that make Zebment work, and only to the extent needed:

• Cloud hosting and database providers that store the platform’s data.
• Our payment gateway, to process subscription payments.
• Communication providers, to deliver the emails and WhatsApp messages you send from Zebment.
• Government or legal authorities, where disclosure is required by law.

We never sell or rent your personal or business information to third parties.

Data is stored on secured, access-controlled cloud infrastructure. Connections are encrypted in transit (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, and access is restricted to authorised personnel. While no online service can be guaranteed 100% secure, we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we retain data only as long as needed for legal, tax or accounting purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymised. You can request export or deletion of your data at any time.

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Request a copy (export) of your business data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention requirements.

We use only essential cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences (such as theme and layout). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Zebment is a business tool and is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above, and where appropriate we will notify you within the app or by email.
